In the ancient rainforests and the rugged coastline of the Pacific Northwest my journey as an artist began to unfurl.   My creativity was sparked as I explored the rocky shores as a child, where I discovered a world of wonder hidden within the tide pools and along the water's edge.  

When my family moved to the fossil-rich mountains of Wyoming, I developed a deep appreciation for the earth's ancient history and the stories it had to tell. It was here, amidst the rugged beauty of the American West, that I first encountered the wonders of fossils and gemstones, each one a testament to the timeless mysteries of the natural world.  

Armed with the memories of my coastal childhood and the wonders of the Wyoming wilderness, I journeyed northward to Canada, drawn by the promise of new adventures. I was amazed to discover the sacred Alberta ammonite nestled within the fossil-rich soil of the dinosaur capital of the world. Infusing my artwork with these ancient treasures, I sought to capture the soul-stirring beauty of the natural world in all its raw and unbridled glory. From the vibrant hues of sunset reflected in the ammonite's iridescent shell to the shimmering geodes and magical gemstones that pulsed with energy and life, each piece became a testament to the wonder and majesty of the earth's treasures.  

Through my art, I am inviting others to rediscover the magic of the natural world and forge a deeper connection to the earth's ancient rhythms. As I reflect on the path that has led me to become a full-time artist, I am filled with gratitude for the opportunity to share my impressionistic abstract gemstone creations with those who appreciate the intricate beauty of the earth's treasures. With each brushstroke, I continue to paint the story of my soul, a tribute to the enduring beauty of nature and how it has shaped me as an artist and as a person.
